INTEGRATIVE HEALTH COACH
For nearly all of my life, I have been overly cognizant of how the body functions and its abilities.
I get asked a lot how I started on my journey to becoming a health coach. At the age of twenty-two I lost my mom to cancer. This tragic loss gave me such a unique perspective on the human body and life in general. It made me realize how fragile and delicate the body is when it is not in balance.
Fast forward to about ten years ago, when I started to feel an imbalance in my body — fatigue, weight gain, sleep issues, and overall not feeling like myself. After going to Western medicine doctors, hearing it was all in my head, and being offered medication, I intuitively knew that this couldn’t be the solution to my problems. That was a pivotal moment in my life, where I turned to alternative medicine.
I started to obsessively read every book known to man on healing the body naturally.
I also started working with a functional medicine doctor and got to the root of my issues. I learned that true health is balance of the mind, body, and spirit. I started working on myself spiritually and my healing journey was ignited even more.
Over the years my passion for wellness continued to escalate. People around me started to come for me for advice on all things “wellness.” I couldn’t ignore the feeling I had when I was helping people find their own path to health. I started to feel like I was completely aligned with my life’s purpose, at last!
I enrolled at Integrative Institute of Nutrition where my world was further influenced by the best minds of alternative health. Now I am a health coach, helping men and women find their own path to wellness in all aspects of their life. There is nothing that is more fulfilling and inspiring than being a part of these incredible transformations. I am so deeply humbled by this journey.
